I am a doctoral candidate in physics at the Leibniz Institute of Polymer Reserach and Technical University Dresden. I work at the Institute Theory of Polymers under the supervision of Prof. Jens-Uwe Sommer and Prof. Abhinav Sharma. I use principles of non-equilibrium statistical mechanics and computer simulations to work on problems in biophysics and active matter.
During my master's I worked with Prof. Meheboob Alam at Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research. My thesis was concerning the hydrodyanamics and rheology of rarefied molecular and granular flows.
I hail from Bengaluru, a city in Southern India. My interests include Carnatic classical music, sports (mainly football, basketball, tennis, and American football), and reading. I also play table tennis and the Mridangam (a two-faced south Indian drum).
